History
Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Wenatchee Valley began in early 1990s, as a vision of Pastor Rob. The Lord Jesus directed several families in the valley to call Rob, who lived in Everett, at the time and was attending Calvary Chapel Bothel with Marty Anderson.

Rob started with a bible study for first year in "the orchard" in Cashmere at Drew and Robins house. At the end of the first year, it was evident that God did in fact want a fellowship to start. Wenatchee valley is "churchee," but they hungered for the simple teaching of the bible, chapter by chapter and verse by verse.

For the first six months, we met at the Red Lion Inn in two conference rooms. Next, the Lord Jesus opened up a great store front in the heart of town, and we were there for 5 years. Then, the Lord gave us a building. It was a miracle. The Assemblies of God in East Wenatchee needed to sell there "old building," and we sure needed one!!! We moved in without paying a nickel down, and the mortgage has been held by the Assemblies for approximately eight years now. Praise God!!

We had two services in our small building and when we moved over, it seemed to be logical to go to one, but the Lord encouraged us through Tim Lawless, one of our teaching elders and overseer of the Children's Ministry, to stay with the two teams and within a few months, we were full in both services. It is like the old saying "teach the Word and they will come"!

The church has been a journey of faith for us all. God gave us a key scripture when we moved into the new building. This key passage was a vision confirmation for us: ""He sent forth his word and healed them... Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for men."" We are very active in missions outreach, doing the water bottle outreach to the Apple Blossom parade, Belarus, India and now Nigeria.

But the primary calling is reaching the sick, wounded and malnourished sheep in this "church'ee" valley (did I say that before).

We have had our ups and down, but our God is VERY FAITHFUL.
